FULL DESCRIPTION
Visit Rome in style – See the highlights all in one day. You can choose between two options: one where is included the pick up from your accomodation and the other where you go directly to the two meeting point .This tour includes as well as priority entrance (skipping all lines – except mandatory security/metal detector checks.) You will begin your tour in the morning at the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel&St Peter Basilica and in the early afternoon to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
The Vatican Museums are one of the world’s most visited museum complexes, and undoubtedly on Rome’s “must see” list. Overflowing with masterpieces by many of the world’s most important Renaissance and Baroque artists, as well as works from ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt. Here, Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel sits alongside works by Botticelli, Perugino and Bernini. Our guide will lead you through all of the most important galleries, explaining the key masterpieces including the Sistine Chapel, after which you will exit directly into St. Peter’s Basilica, the world’s largest Christian church. The Vatican area tour ends in St Peter square so according the options you choosed you will get lunch with us or go directly to the next meeting point Arch of Constantine at 02.15 pm for the Colosseo’s tour.
Here, your guide will make the world’s most famous amphitheater come to life, explaining its awe-inspiring structure, and recreating the days when it was filled with the sounds of roaring animals and crowds, and the clashing swords of gladiators. Recently cleaned and restored, see the Colosseum in all its splendor and glory. After the Colosseum your guide will bring you bring you to the Roman Forum. As the ancient city’s social, governmental, economic and religious center, the Roman Forum was the heart of Ancient Rome. Next, The tour concludes at around 05.30 pm in the Colosseo area
MEETING POINT
Pickup from ROME Area: Your tour will depart from tour accomodation facilities located in the city center or other potential meeting point. We offer pickup service from all accommodation. Please include, in your reservation, the accommodation name and its address. The pickup time time will be at 08.15 AM at the lobby of your hotel or accomodation. It could be happen, due to the traffic conditions, to wait few minutes more. The ride should take between 10 – 15 minutes, depending on where your accomodation is located. Please plan to be at the designated departure location at least 5 minutes before the departure time scheduled. Missed tours cannot be refunded.
Meeting point time scheduled for this excursion is 08,30 am. Please remember that the transfer back to accommodation is not included
